EDX DC-3™ is an integrated environmental monitoring solution through which data centre managers can optimize their operations, and maximize up-time.  Designed to operate at the circuit level, data centre managers can differentiate the effects of power consumption, by device, and make key decisions on how to optimize their operations, reduce their power consumption and costs, and minimize their carbon footprint.

Utilizing the IMS proprietary Environmental Data Exchange™ (EDX™) platform, EDX DC-3™ delivers comprehensive and integrated real-time information about the environmental conditions affecting a data centre’s operations, including power, temperature, humidity and other conditions.  The EDX DC-3™ solution also provides on-line access to historical and trend information, as well as live, multi-level thermal imaging to pin-point areas of over-heating and over-cooling.   In addition, EDX DC-3™ solutions provide a user-managed alert system, so that data center managers can set the out-of-bounds conditions to be monitored, with alarms being sent to Blackberries, mobile phones,  PCs, and other devices.
